   The most polluted cities in Africa is way to show the adverse effects of industrialization, urbanization and ever increasing population in Africa. Asian countries like China, India are known to have very highest level of pollution  in the world, but over the years, the level of pollution in African cities is growing exponentially.                                                     A WHO report in may 2016 showed that more than 80 percent of people living in urban areas are exposed to air pollution. According to the report 98 percent of cities living in low and middle income countries with more than 100,000 inhabitants do not meet WHO air quality guidelines.  The best country to be born in Africa index tries to highlight the everyday challenges facing Africans. It attempts to measure which country will provide the opportunities for a healthy, safe and prosperous life in the years ahead.   The happiest and saddest countries in Africa is way to determine sustainable development and solutions network by the United nations World happiness report. The global world happiness report was a way to measure the level of happiness around the world. The aim was to help government fashion out ways to help guide economic and political policies, determine the state of happiness around the world, causes of happiness,misery and also policy implications of government around the world.   The report was first published in 2012 and the report is now released annually. 20 MOST CORRUPT COUNTRIES IN AFRICA

  African countries have been heavily featured on the list of most corrupt countries in the world according to transparency international's corruption perceptions index. Every year since 1995,Transparency International and the United nations releases it's corruption perception index which tries to survey and explain corruption and abuse of office by civil servants and government officials. The CPI currently ranks 178 in the world and more than 30 African countries.  According to survey, the countries seen as most corrupt is African countries, Middle East and Asian countries. MOST EXPENSIVE CITIES IN AFRICA

The list of most expensive cities in Africa tries to show or reflect the cost of living in Africa in today's world.    According to Mercer and ECA international survey of most expensive cities in the world for expat workers, emerging economies are heavily featured in the list compared to developed economies. This trend is caused by the impact of foreign direct investment which has caused the emerging economies to adjust.            According to Mercer's president, he attributed this to a volatile market and stunted economic growth in the world.  In Africa to be precise, many factors have contributed to the rising cost of living for expat workers. FASTEST GROWING AFRICAN ECONOMY IN 2016

2016 is going to be  a challenging year for the African economy and world economy at large according to  IMF and world Bank figures. Based on IMF projections and World Bank's global economic prospects, African economies experienced a marginal decline in growth for  two years running compared to the previous years  due to the slump in oil prices which affected oil producing countries in Africa like Nigeria, Algeria, Angola etc.        According to IMF and world economic forum, growth in Africa is expected to be around 5 percent on average basis while foreign direct investment is expected to grow at a slower pace compared to the previous years.   Moreover, the growth for this year is slightly bigger than that of last year which stood around 42 percent on average.  The growth for this year and last year has shown that African economy is slowly moving from Agricultural and raw material based economy to service based economy. The list contains the networth of African artist both old and new. The list puts into account the amount each artist has accumulated in his or her career. The list is made up of both male and female artists and of course the list is dominated by male musician except for few notable female musician who has managed to break the glass ceiling in recent years in Africa's music industry.      However, the list is also dominated by Anglophone countries and other notable exceptions from francophone countries.
